Adelle Fernando, a 15 year-old from Sewickley, will continue helping middle school students in Pittsburgh and the surrounding suburbs become comfortable with public speaking by reinstating the Gallant Gaveliers Gavel Club under Toastmasters International. Meetings will take place on a weekly basis along with events to showcase and practice the skills being learned. A parent will serve as the mentor for this project. Funding will be used for writing supplies, snacks,website hosting fees, membership fees for Toastmasters International, transportation, and meeting space.
